QUETTA: The spokesman, Government of Balochistan, Shahid Rind has stated that the fire erupted in the forests in the area of Musakhail has been controlled.
According to the spokesman, the fire was overcome after struggle made for 24 hours.
The spokesman said that hardships were faced in the fire because of the stormy winds.
He said that Frontier Corps and Levies force also assisted in fire extinguishing operation along with the Forests Department and Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
The spokesman also appreciated Deputy Commissioner Musakhail, Forest Department, FC, Levies and PDMA for taking steps to control jungle fire.
On the other hand, investigations are in progress to determine the causes behind eruption of fire in the forests.
