Balochistan Grand Health Alliance takes out protest rally; opposes privatization of Govt. hospitals

QUETTA: The Balochistan Grand Health Alliance took out protest rally against the proposed privatization of the public sector hospitals, here in the provincial metropolis on Thursday.
The rally taken out from the Sandeman Provincial Headquarter Hospital ended at the Quetta Press Club passing through different roads.
The Alliance comprising the Young Doctors Association, Paramedical Staff Association and other representative organizations of the health workers were carrying the banners and placards inscribed the slogans against privatization of the public sector hospitals and other health establishments in the province.
The rally turned out into the protest demo outside the Quetta Press Club.
They vehemently rejected the decision of provincial government regarding privatization of the government hospitals and recruitment of doctors and other medical staff on the adhoc and temporary grounds.
The Grand Health Alliance leaders said that we would not accept the government’s decision anyway and would intensify the protest if it was not averted.
