QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stated that the viable projects would be completed for development of the province under guidance of the Chairman, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
He thanked the Chairman PPP for presenting the province’s affairs and adopting principled stance in the federation well. He said that steps would remain continued for raising standard of life of common men.
The Chief Minister was addressing the ceremony of distribution of grants among flood affected people for reconstruction of the houses and livelihood here at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Monday.
The Chairman of PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was the chief guest on the occasion.
Also present on the occasion were the senior leader of PPP and Member National Assembly, Mir Ejaz Jhakrani, former Deputy Chairman Senate, Sabir Baloch, Provincial Minister Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, Advisor to CM, Mir Ali Hasan Zehri, Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Deputy Speaker of Provincial Assembly, Ms. Ghazala Gola, other provincial ministers, advisors, parliamentary secretaries, members of the provincial assembly and other high ups.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the long term planning is being made to cope with the challenges of climate changes the province is facing.
He said that the sustainable rehabilitation and assistance of the flood affectees of Sindh and Balochistan was made possible from the international grant brought by the Chairman PPP as the then Foreign Minister for the assistance of affectees of 2022 floods.
The Chief Minister said that the loans which were acquired from the international institutions for rehabilitation projects in the flood affected areas due to the interest of Chairman PPP were given to Balochistan in form of the grant.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the project of US $ 400 million was made viable for rehabilitation of the flood affectees of the province.
