Speaker Balochistan Assembly directs concerned high ups to resolve issues of Chaman district on priority basis

QUETTA: The Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai has stated we have firm resolve to resolve the problems being faced by Chaman and it’s people.
The Speaker emphasized that Chaman needs special attention because of it’s status of newly newly formed district.
He directed the concerned high ups to terminate the absentee teachers and appoint their substitutes immediately.
The Speaker also directed to reopen all the non-functional schools and meet shortage of the lecturers in higher education.
Moreover, adding he asked the concerned authorities to provide necessary medicines in the district headquarter hospital and ensure attendance of the doctors in the district.
The Speaker was presiding over the meeting held to resolve the issues of Chaman here at the Provincial Assembly on Friday.
The meeting discussed different issues being faced in different sectors in Chaman.
Being the representative of his election constituency, the Speaker stressed the need to take immediate action for resolving issues of the border town.
He also asked the concerned quarters to eliminate corruption from the passport office and post new employees in place of the existing ones.
Similarly steps should also be taken to stop deductions from the funds allocated for the deserving persons.
He stressed that the fruit and vegetable markets as well as truck terminals and other infrastructure should be made operational.
In addition to this, the Speaker also stressed on abolishing the system of sugar permits.
