LARKANA : 23-year-old Rauf Rehman Soomro died due to the alleged negligence of the doctors in a private medical center in Sachal Colony of Larkana, while the relatives of the deceased youth protested for justice at the main SSP Chowk of the city. A sit-in was held while some emotional youths also shouted slogans against the doctors of the private medical center. Addressing the sit-in, the deceased youth’s brothers Zamir Hussain Soomro, Rizwan Hussain Soomro and his uncle Abdul Ghafoor Soomro and others protested and said that our deceased young man was suffering from stone disease, which we examined by Dr. Abdul Rashid Sheikh at City Medical Center near Sachal Colony, who prescribed some medicines and asked to operate on the young man on Saturday. According to the advice, we admitted the young man to the center and after the operation, the young man suffered pain in his abdomen, but the doctor was not present at the center at that time, so our young man died, and then the staff of the private hospital, including the dead young man, Throw us out of the center, they strongly appealed to the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. The matter should be investigated and the doctors and staff involved should be arrested and a case of murder should be registered against them and justice should be done with the blood of the deceased, otherwise we will be forced to take very strict measures.
