Chief Minister pays homage to martyrs of democracy including Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on Democracy Day

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has paid homage to all martyrs of democracy including Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on eve of the World Democracy Day.
In a message issued on the World Democracy Day observed on Sunday, 15th October all over globe including Pakistan, the Chief Minister said that there is a long history of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for stability of the country.
He said that from the party leaders to a common worker have rendered sacrifice of their lives for nurturing democracy.
The Chief Minister said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had termed the democratic form of system as best revenge in political perspective.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that strengthening democracy is our aim and the coalition government in the province is best combination of democratic process, he maintained.
He also said that taking all political parties with their respective ideologies for public service is democracy.
He said that strengthening democracy is necessary for sustainable stability and development of the country.
He also said that democracy is the only way of stability and bright future of the country. He said that democratic system allows common men the mandate to elect their representatives. The elected public representatives can serve the masses in best manner in democratic system.
It may be mentioned here that the International Day of Democracy is observed on 15th October all over the world.
This year’s theme for the International Day of Democracy is ‘Artificial Intelligence as a tool for good governance’, with a focus on ensuring effective governance of AI at all levels, including internationally, to harness its benefits while mitigating its risks.
