67 road accidents occurred in Balochistan on single day; 6 dies, 149 injured: MERC

QUETTA: As many as 67 road accidents were occurred on different national highways in Balochistan in the single day, revealed in a report shared by the Medical Emergency Response Center (MERC) on Sunday.
According to the MERC’s report, in all six persons died while 149 injured were brought and provided treatment in different trauma centers located on the highways fall in the province.
As per the report, highest number of road accidents were reported on the N-50, Quetta-Zhob-Dera Ismail Khan highway. Four passengers lost their lives while 77 persons got injured in 33 accidents occurred on the N-50 highway.
The bodies of deceased and injured passengers were shitted to different trauma centers located along the highway that connects Quetta to Dera Ismail Khan via Killa Saifullah and Zhob.
Similarly, in all 23 road accidents were occurred on the N-25, Quetta-Khuzdar-Karachi. In all two persons died and 56 got injured in the road accidents.
