GRAND ULEMA CONFERENCE IN HANGO, KP: SCHOLARS BACK ARMY’S WAR AGAINST TERROR

Hango, Sept 14: A Grand Ulema Conference was held in Hango, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, attended by a large number of scholars, religious leaders from minority communities, madrasa students, and civil officials.
The conference reiterated support for Pakistan Army’s war against terrorism, pledging to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the military. Scholars acknowledged the nation’s appreciation for the army’s unwavering resolve and sacrifices.
Maj Gen Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, GOC Kohat, addressed the conference, praising the ulema’s role in the war against terrorism as exemplary and timely. Scholars commended Pakistan Army’s key role in regional peace, education, healthcare, and other sectors.
