Chairman CMIT constitutes committee for inquiry of alleged occupation on water supply scheme

QUETTA: The Chairman of Chief Minister Inspection Team (CMIT) Abdul Saboor Kakar has constituted committee for inquiry of the alleged occupation of the water supply scheme located in Killi Umar Khan, Airport road.
The Chairman CMIT was speaking to the delegation of Anjuman Ittehad Naujawanan Killi Umar Khan who called on him here on Wednesday.
The delegation was led by the provincial president of Pashtoonkhaw National Awami Party and former MPA, Nasarullah Khan Zairay.
Abdul Saboor Kakar assured that action would be taken on proving occupation of the water supply scheme in the report of committee.
Nasarullah Zairay said that the forefathers of the area dwellers had devoted the land to Public Health Engineering for the water supply scheme.
However, a farm house has allegedly been built after occupation against which the dwellers have been observing protest.
He said that no attention is being paid towards the protest and the area dwellers are being forced to vacate the scheme at their own.
He expressed the hope that the issue would be resolved soon with personal interest of the Chairman CMIT
