The Sindh Textbook Board has successfully completed the distribution of free textbooks to government schools across the province, ensuring timely and transparent delivery. Chairman Abdul Aleem Lashari confirmed that 4.453 million sets of books, comprising 24.351 million individual textbooks, have been printed and delivered to school children.
This achievement is part of the “Parhay Gi Sindh, Barhay Gi Sindh” initiative, spearheaded by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah, aiming to provide education to every child in Sindh.
Lashari highlighted that this is the first time in history that textbook distribution has been completed in a transparent and timely manner. Monitoring teams are continuously visiting schools to ensure the delivery process runs smoothly.
This significant milestone demonstrates the government’s commitment to education and ensuring that every child in Sindh has access to quality learning materials.
