Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, chaired the 14th Board of Governors meeting of Edwards College at the Governor House. The meeting expressed displeasure over the unnecessary delay in approving the minutes of the previous meeting and decided to take strict action against such delays in the future. The meeting discussed proposals to reduce unnecessary expenses and increase the number of scholarships for students. A proposal was presented to offer 100% scholarships to 14 students from merged districts, as well as 5 scholarships for disabled students, 3 scholarships for Hafiz-e-Quran, and 3 scholarships for transgender students.
The meeting also discussed the appointment of a permanent principal for the college and decided to review the relevant rules and procedures for the appointment.
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi will visit Abbottabad and Dera Ismail Khan soon.
