Empowering women with skills & knowledge crucial step towards sustainable development: Rubaba

QUETTA: The Advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan on Women Development Department, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi has said that skill development programs will enable women of Balochistan, particularly in remote areas, to become self-reliant, boosting their confidence and contributing to the welfare of their families. These remarks were given by Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi during a meeting with delegation led by Ms. Sana Durrani, Ms. Ambreen, and Mr. Khalid. The delegation presented a proposal focused on non-conventional skill development across various districts of Balochistan, aimed at empowering women in the region.
Expressing her support, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi said, ” It is imperative that we continue to work together to unlock the untapped potential of our women and build a prosperous future for them .”. She reaffirmed that Provincial Government is committed to providing opportunities that will not only uplift women but also strengthen the socio-economic fabric of our province.”
The delegation also discussed their plans to showcase traditional crafts in Quetta and beyond, with the goal of expanding their reach to national and international markets.
“The incredible handicrafts of our women are a testament to their creativity and dedication. We are determined to promote these talents and provide them with a platform that will elevate their work and connect them with larger markets,” Dr. Buledi emphasized.
