Lasbela, September 3, 2024: The University of Lasbela has become a hub of corruption, with officials indulging in embezzlement and mismanagement, leaving students and employees to suffer.
According to a statement issued by the Baloch Students Organization (BSO) Azad Zone, the university is being run like a jungle, where officials consider themselves above the law and have made the lives of students, employees, and staff miserable.
“The university has millions of rupees allocated for corruption, but no one is working to address the deteriorating condition of the university, employees’ salaries, and other issues,” said the BSO spokesperson.
The spokesperson added that all departments of the university are facing various problems, including a lack of basic facilities like cold water during the summer. The condition of hostels is even more pathetic, with no proper cleaning system and no internet facility in this modern era.
Daily thefts are occurring in front of the security officer’s eyes, and the administration is so corrupt that it doesn’t even allow questions to be raised.
The BSO has warned the university officials to stop their corruption and address the issues, otherwise, strict decisions will be made.
“The officials should stop their corruption and work for the betterment of the university, or else we will be forced to take action,” said the spokesperson.
