Students of Makran Medical College staged a protest and boycott of classes against the college administration’s failure to address basic issues, including electricity, gas, and furniture.

The students alleged that the administration has failed to provide essential facilities despite receiving funds worth crores of rupees. They claimed that the college has been functional since 2018 but lacks basic facilities, and the incompetent and corrupt administration has brought the college to the brink of destruction.

The students complained that unofficial load shedding of 18-19 hours has been ongoing for several days, while generators worth lakhs of rupees are lying unused due to lack of fuel funds.

The students demanded action against the administration and the appointment of senior medical officers. They threatened to continue their protest until their demands are met.

The protesting students alleged that the administration is corrupt and has embezzled funds meant for the college. They demanded a thorough investigation into the matter and action against those responsible.

Despite the protests, the college administration remains silent on the issue. The students have vowed to continue their protest until their demands are met and the administration is held accountable for its negligence.
