Chaman, August 19, 2024 – On the special instructions of Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Captain (R) Raja Atta Abbas, Assistant Commissioner Imtiaz Ali Baloch made a surprise visit to the Border Checkpost, Garring Checkpost, and Bai Pass Checkpost. He checked the attendance report of the Levies personnel.
During the visit, Assistant Commissioner Imtiaz Ali Baloch issued directives to all Levies in-charge, stating that daily checks should be conducted at nakas, main roads, and link roads to thoroughly search and interrogate suspicious individuals and vehicles. He emphasized that Levies personnel and officers should ensure their duties are performed diligently and without any negligence or laziness. He also directed them to remain alert and vigilant at all times.
(Note: Levies refers to a paramilitary force responsible for maintaining law and order in certain areas of Pakistan)
