ANF CONTINUES CRACKDOWN ON DRUG TRAFFICKING

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has carried out six operations, resulting in the seizure of over 137 kg of narcotics worth more than Rs. 1 crore and the arrest of six suspects, including a woman.
According to ANF spokesperon press release
In Rawalpindi, 8.7 kg of ice was recovered from a parcel destined for Australia at a courier office. In another operation, 88.3 kg of charras was seized from the Karam Agency. 30 kg of opium was recovered from Dalbandin, Chaghi.

In Rawalpindi, 2.4 kg of charras was seized from a woman and another suspect. In a second operation in Rawalpindi, 7.2 kg of charras and 29 intoxicating tablets were recovered from two suspects. 1.2 kg of charras was seized from a suspect near the Islamabad Motorway.

Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and further investigations have been initiated.
