Neelum (AJK), August 26, 2024 – According to the AJK Information Department, Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq arrived in Neelum on a two-day visit on Monday, receiving a warm welcome from the people of the area.
During his journey to the picturesque valley, the Prime Minister was greeted by hundreds of Pakistan People’s Party activists, led by Law Minister Mian Abdul Waheed, at Bab e Neelum. The premier was showered with rose petals as he was accompanied by several government ministers.
The Prime Minister made a brief stop at Barian, where he offered Fatiha for the late Nambadar Irshad Awan, former Secretary General of the Pakistan People’s Party, and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
The Prime Minister’s visit to Neelum is expected to focus on various development projects and initiatives in the region. Further details of his schedule and engagements are awaited.
