Commissioner Kohat recommends action against CEO WSSC Kohat for poor performance.

Commissioner Kohat Division Syed Motasim Billah Shah on Sunday made a surprise visit to different areas of Kohat, Hangu and Orakzai districts under the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Program “Awami Agenda”. Commissioner Kohat on this occasion, recommended action against the Chief Executive of WSSC Kohat to the higher authorities for the piles of garbage and poor cleanliness in the areas under the supervision of WSSC Kohat. However, the piles of dirt were removed by TMA Kohat on the orders of Commissioner.

Similarly, Motasim Billah, in his surprise visit to Orakzai Agency, deducted one day’s salary from 22 employees of Agriculture Extension for not cultivating more than 50,000 cultivable plants in the nurseries of Agriculture Extension and poor sanitation, while Secretary Agriculture was contacted for departmental action against the Director Agriculture Extension Kohat for his poor performance.

Commissioner Kohat also ordered an audit of all government nurseries of Kohat division. It is expected that 1 to 2 lakh cultivable plants will be available in these nurseries, but they have not been cultivated. Commissioner Kohat also directed to ensure cultivation of cultivable plants in government nurseries within 2 months.

Motasim Billa praised the performance of the Deputy Commissioners of Kohat, Hangu and Orakzai districts for taking exemplary security and cleanliness measures for Muharram and Chehlam and announced appreciation certificates for them.
