Harnali, August 25, 2024 – Thanks to the special interest and efforts of Deputy Commissioner Harnali, Arif Khan Kakar, the Zarghoon Ghar road, which was closed due to heavy rainfall, has been reopened for traffic from Harnai to Tor Shor.
Recently, the road was severely damaged at various points due to landslides and rockfalls, causing difficulties for the public in transporting goods and traveling. To address these issues, the Deputy Commissioner worked tirelessly to clear the road and restore traffic flow, utilizing heavy machinery to remove debris and smooth out the road.
In addition to reopening the Harnai to Tor Shor road, work is also underway to repair the Harnai to Dilwani road and the Loi Zor road. Deputy Commissioner Arif Khan Kakar stated that this year’s heavy rainfall posed a significant threat of damage to Harnali, similar to other districts in Balochistan. However, timely preparations and professionalism by the district administration and relevant departments mitigated the risks.
