ALL PARTIES CITIZEN ACTION COMMITTEE KHUZDAR TO LAUNCH MOVEMENT AGAINST DELAY IN JHALAWAN MEDICAL COLLEGE PROJECT

Khuzdar, August 24: The All Parties Citizen Action Committee Khuzdar has decided to launch a movement against the delay in the Jhalawan Medical College project. The committee also demanded that Khuzdar be declared a disaster-hit area due to the devastation caused by the monsoon rains.

In a meeting attended by a large number of council members, it was stated that the continuous rainfall has resulted in a flood-like situation in Khuzdar, causing widespread damage to people’s homes and livestock. The committee urged the elected representatives and Khuzdar administration to play their role in addressing the situation.
The meeting also discussed the alleged corruption in the Jhalawan Medical College project and the long-standing appointment of the project manager. The council members decided to launch a movement against the delay in the project and to ensure transparency, a local committee comprising members from all parties would be formed to investigate the matter.The committee also demanded that the government take immediate action to address the issues faced by the people of Khuzdar due to the monsoon rains and the delay in the medical college project.
