On the instructions of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi, the FIA Peshawar Zone has launched a crackdown on elements involved in the manufacture and sale of fake and banned medicines. In a recent action, the Composite Circle Abbottabad arrested two accused, Qazi Zahid Asghar and Qazi Abdul Wahid, who were found involved in the sale of fake medicines.
The accused were arrested after their pre-arrest bail was canceled by the Drug Court Peshawar. A case was registered against them in the Composite Circle Abbottabad. The accused have been shifted from Peshawar to Abbottabad for further investigation.
FIA Spokesperson said that the operation against fake and banned medicines is ongoing, and strict action will be taken against those involved in this illegal business.
