A series of tragic incidents has struck Larkana district, resulting in the deaths of two innocent children and leaving over 10 people injured. According to reports, 9-year-old Ali Raza, son of Manthar Dithu, drowned in accumulated rainwater near Abu Bakar cemetery, while 9-year-old Gulsher Ali Chandio succumbed to burn injuries at a hospital.
Meanwhile, a surge in dog bite cases has left over 10 individuals, including women and children, injured across the district. The victims include 10-year-old Mujeebur Rahman, 35-year-old Sakina Brohi, 40-year-old Ghulam Abbas, 10-year-old Aqsa, 62-year-old Habibullah, 14-year-old Nayab, 15-year-old Muhammad Ayan, and others.
The incidents have raised concerns about the district’s management and safety measures, sparking widespread grief and outrage among local residents.
