Internet Services Disrupted in Pakistan Due to Submarine Cable Fault

A fault in the international submarine cable has disrupted internet services in various regions of Pakistan ¹. According to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the fault has occurred in the SMW4 submarine cable, which is one of the seven submarine cables connecting Pakistan ¹.

The PTA has stated that teams are working to identify and rectify the fault, and the situation is being monitored until internet services return to normal ¹. The chairman of PTA has assured that the issue will be resolved by August 27 ¹.
