Director General Gwadar Development Authority, Shafqat Anwar Shahwani, visited the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) headquarters in Karachi and held a meeting with ABAD Chairman Asif Sumsum and other members to discuss residential projects in Gwadar.
During the meeting, the Director General emphasized the need to accelerate development work on residential projects in Gwadar and assured that GDA would take all possible measures to facilitate investors.
He mentioned that the Special Economic District and Central Business District are the backbone of Gwadar’s economic development, and these projects are under consideration by provincial and federal governments for approval and implementation.
He also mentioned that the New Gwadar International Airport is in its final stages of completion, which will make Gwadar an easily accessible destination for economic and tourism purposes at regional and global levels.
During the meeting, the Director General assured ABAD members that their concerns would be addressed.
