A protest was held at SSP Chowk in Larkana after the death of Imdad Sheikh, who was injured in a clash between the Baddani and Sheikh communities in Juma Shaikh village. The heirs of the deceased demanded the arrest of the accused and staged a sit-in against Shaheed Elahi Bakhsh Sial Police Station.The relatives, including Peersan, Ayaz Sheikh, Shaukat Sheikh, and Nizamuddin, alleged that the police released the suspect, a relative of Union Council Chairman Wadda Mahar, after receiving a bribe. They claimed that the suspect was involved in the murder of their family member 15 days ago.
The protesters demanded the immediate arrest of the murderers and the chairman of the Union Council, seeking justice for the deceased. They accused the police of corruption and partiality in the case.
