ANTI-NARCOTICS FORCE CONTINUES CRACKDOWN ON DRUG TRAFFICKING

Islamabad, Aug. 19.The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has conducted 11 operations across the country, resulting in the seizure of over 85 kilograms of narcotics worth Rs. 2.5 crore and the arrest of 11 suspects.
The operations were carried out in various cities, including Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Lahore, and Attock. The seized narcotics include ice, charas, and heroin.
1 kilogram of ice was recovered from a parcel destined for Qatar at a courier office in Rawalpindi.
– 250 grams of ice was recovered from a passenger traveling to Bahrain at Faisalabad Airport.
– 189 grams of ice was recovered from a passenger traveling to Bahrain at Lahore Airport.
– 40 kilograms of charas and 14.4 kilograms of ice were recovered from a car on RC D Road, Lasbela; one suspect was arrested.
– 9.6 kilograms of charas was recovered from a woman on M-1 near Islamabad.
– 7.2 kilograms of charas was recovered from a motorcyclist on GT Road, Attock.
– 7.4 kilograms of charas and 900 grams of ice were recovered in two operations at Torkham.
– 3 kilograms of heroin was recovered from three suspects near UET Gate 3, Lahore.
– 1 kilogram of ice was recovered from a suspect at Sher Shah Toll Plaza.
– 300 grams of ice was recovered from a woman on Diska Siyal Road.
Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations are underway.
The Anti-Narcotics Force will continue to take action against drug trafficking and smuggling, and those involved will be brought to justice.
