Federal Interior Minister visits FC South Headquarter:

QUETTA: The Federal Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi has stated that all stakeholders would have to come on one page for sustainable development of Balochistan. He said that prosperity and development of Balochistan is linked with sustainable peace.
He underlined the need to take comprehensive measures for empowering youth of the province.
He said that Frontier Corps (FC) South is on the frontline to foil the nefarious designs of Fitna al Khawarij.
The Federal Interior Minister was presiding over a meeting at the FC South Headquarter on Sunday.
He was briefed about the operations against the Fitna alkhawarij and smuggling.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Navqi appreciated the performance of FC South for establishing peace and prevention of smuggling.
He said that the FC South is playing exemplary role for peace in hard circumstances. Besides, the force is also playing lead role for peace in the province.
Mohsin Naqvi said that he is proud of the professional proficiency and bravery of the officers and personnels of FC South.
He assured that the requirements of FC south would be met remaining in the resources.
During the course of briefing, it was informed that the illegal goods of worth Rs. 4.7 billion were confiscated during last six months.
He was also briefed about the overall professional performance of the FC south.
Earlier, the Federal Interior Minister was welcomed by the Inspector General FC South, Major General Bilal Sarfraz Khan upon his arrival at the FC south Headquarter.
He also visited the monument of the martyrs and prayed for their departed souls.
He paid rich tributes to the sacrifices of martyrs of FC south.
