Quetta, August 17, : The Regional Meteorological Center Quetta has predicted heavy rainfall with thunderstorms in several districts of Balochistan, including Khuzdar, Mastung, Awaran, Surab, Kech, Dera Bugti, Harnai, Kachhi, Ziarat, Sibi, Naseerabad, Usta Muhammad, Jhal Magsi, Sohbatpur, Musakhel, Barkhan, Sherani, Loralai, Kohlu, Duki, Hub, Lasbela, and Jaffarabad.
Light to moderate rainfall is also expected in Quetta, Killa Saifullah, Killa Abdullah, Pishin, Punjgur, Washuk, and coastal areas of Jiwani, Pasni, Gwadar, and Ormara.
The meteorological center has warned of flash flooding in Khuzdar, Khuzdar, Surab, Awaran, Ziarat, Harnai, Kachhi, Jhal Magsi, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Barkhan, and Musakhel due to intermittent heavy rainfall. Low-lying areas in Sibi, Naseerabad, Usta Muhammad, Jaffarabad, and Sohbatpur may also be inundated.
The weather is expected to remain hot and humid in most districts of the province on Sunday, with thunderstorms and light to moderate rainfall predicted in Quetta, Khuzdar, Surab, Awaran, Punjgur, Kech, Lasbela, and coastal areas.
