Govt. ready to combat every kind of circumstances: Can’t hand over administrative, Govt affairs to armed bands, asserts CM

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has categorically stated that government is ready to combat every kind of circumstances. He said that we can’t hand over the administrative and government affairs to the armed bands.
He highly appreciated the lady police officers and personnels who performed during protest demonstrations in Quetta and Gwadar announcing Rs. 0.5 million as token of appreciation.
The Chief Minister was speaking to the lady police cops who had performed duties during protest demonstrations in Quetta and Gwadar, here on Friday.
The Inspector General of Police, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh and DIG POlice Quetta, Aitezaz Ahsan Goraya were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister bucked up the lady police cops on discharging duties during tough circumstances.
The Chief Minister said that the lady police cops are the pride of Balochistan. He said that they are the real face of Balochistan and custodians of its traditions. He regretfully pointed out that those speaking of Baloch nationalism actually harassed the women police cops, and as such violated the Baloch traditions.
The Chief Minister said that the people witnessed that who broke the law, and who violated the Balochi traditions by harassing the female police personnels. He questioned that whether the women deputed in the police belonging to the respectable families and tribes don’t fall in the tribal traditions which otherwise are claimed.
He said that while the women police personnels were harassed, still the state demonstrated the patience.
But our patience may not be considered as our weakness, he added.
He also announced that those involved in harassment of the female police personnels would be taken to task.
He also assured them of his full patronage saying that the government would always stand by them.
He exhorted the female police personnels to work for restoration peace and protection of the people. He also asked them to follow the oath of loyalty with the state taken by them assuring them that the government is with them and no one would be allowed to take law in their hands.
He assured to provide resources to put the police force on the modern lines and increase their professional capacity.
Besides, the female police personnels would be imparted modern training of self defence and policing.
He announced cash prize of Rs. 500,000 for the women police cops performed duties during the demonstrations in Quetta and Gwadar. He also announced to provide five water cannon vans to the Balochistan police immediately.
