Swat rally demands peace and security

Swat:- Civil society activists staged a protest rally in Swat to demand the maintenance of peace in the district. The event drew hundreds of participants who marched from Telegram police station to Telegram Bazaar, calling for peace and order in the region.

Speakers at the rally expressed concern over the recent resurgence of terrorist activity in Swat, despite the presence of security forces and intelligence agencies. They demanded that the government take action to eradicate terrorist elements and ensure peace and stability in the area.

Prominent leaders included Mukhtiar Khan Yousafzai, Adalat Khan, Sawab Khan, Asadullah, Javed Khan, Neik Amal Khan and Khalil Bacha was also present on the occasion.

The speakers warned that if the situation does not improve, the people of Swat will be forced to take further action. A follow-up meeting has been scheduled for August 19 to discuss the next course of action.
