QUETTA: The Deputy Commissioner Panjgur, Zakir Baloch, martyred in attack in Mastung, was laid to rest in the local graveyard of native area, Turbat on Wednesday.
A large number of people including the Commissioner Makran Division, Dawood Khilji, Deputy Commissioner Kech, Ibrahim Ismail, other officers besides relatives of the martyr Deputy Commissioner participated in his burial and funeral.
Earlier, his funeral prayer was offered in Turbat.
It may be mentioned here Zakir Baloch was killed by unknown armed men while he was on his way to Quetta from Panjgur a couple of days back.
His funeral prayer was also offered in Central Police Office Quetta. The Governor Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail, Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Corps Commander Quetta, Lt. General Rahat Nasim and others participated in the funeral prayer of DC Panjgur.
