Funeral prayer of martyr Deputy Commissioner Panjgur offered; body sent to Turbat for burial

QUETTA: The funeral prayer of martyr Deputy Commissioner Panjgur, Zakir Baloch was offered at the Central Police Office on Tuesday morning.
The funeral prayer was attended by the Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, Corps Commander, Lt. General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan, Provincial Minister for Home, Mir Ziaullah Langove, Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan, Inspector General of Police, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, Deputy Inspector General of Police and other high ups.
After offering funeral prayer, the body of Deputy Commissioner Panjgur was sent to the native town, Turbat for burial.
Earlier, the Governor, Chief Minister and other high ups laid floral wreathe at the coffin of martyr Deputy Commissioner.
It may be mentioned here that Deputy Commissioner Panjgur, Zakir Baloch was gunned down by unknown armed assailants while he was on his way to Quetta from Panjgur on Monday night.
The Chairman Municipal Committee Panjgur, Abdul Malik Baloch, accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner, was also injured in the firing incident.
The Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti and Provincial Minister for Home, Mir Ziaullah Langove took notice of the incident of terrorism in Mastung.
They had ordered for arrest of the terrorists involved in the incident.
