Peshawar – Inauguration of Plantation Campaign in Peshawar Islamia College, Secretary Higher Education Department Kamran Afridi inaugurated the plantation campaign by planting saplings, on this occasion he was accompanied by Vice Chancellor Islamia College University Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Yousafzai, Registrar Arbab Zahid Dawood, Director Administration Shabir Ahmad Kakakhel P&D Director Dr. Zahoor Jan Ali Hoti and Commandant Campus Noor Jamal Khan SHO Abdul Rahman were also present. During the plantation drive, a total of more than five thousands different types of saplings will be planted in Islamia College and University campus. Fruity, flowering and shade trees are included, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad said that our plan is to plant a mini forest in the Islamia College campus to combat the current climate change and the changing weather in our own way , and the university campus is like the lungs of the city of Peshawar, apart from this, you will not see trees on such a large scale anywhere in the city. Secretary Higher education department Kamran Afridi expressed his best wishes and said that I am very happy on this occasion , and it is a great honour for me participating in plantation campaign
