NEGLECT OF DUTY: TWO HOSPITAL STAFF SUSPENDED IN Duki.

Independent desk
Duki, August 7: Deputy Commissioner Kaleemullah Kakar took swift action against the negligence of hospital staff in Duki, suspending two paramedical employees for refusing to treat an injured child.

The child was brought to the hospital with an injured foot, but the staff refused to dress the wound. The child’s father was forced to purchase the necessary medical supplies from a private store, yet the hospital staff still failed to provide treatment.

Upon learning of the incident, DC Kakar immediately suspended Amir Mahmoud and Deen Muhammad, two paramedical staff members, and ordered an inquiry into the matter. The DC warned that negligence, carelessness, and absenteeism will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against those responsible.

This incident highlights the need for greater accountability and attention to patient care in public healthcare facilities.
