In a major crackdown, the Cyber Crime Circle of Islamabad has arrested two individuals for their involvement in online sexual harassment and uploading objectionable videos of a minor girl on social media.
The arrested individuals, identified as Tayyab Shehzad and Zeeshan Haider, had shared the objectionable content of the minor girl on WhatsApp. The authorities have recovered the WhatsApp account and the objectionable material from their mobile phones.
The accused were arrested from Islamabad and were found to be involved in blackmailing the victim using the objectionable content. An investigation has been launched into the matter.
According to the spokesperson of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the agency is taking strict action against those involved in online harassment and uploading objectionable content on social media.
