DOUBLE ADMISSIONS ALLOWED FOR BALOCHISTAN MEDICAL STUDENTS THANKS TO DR. RABABHA KHAN BILIDI’S EFFORTS

Independent Report.
Quetta, August 7

In a significant development, medical students from Balochistan have been granted special permission for double admissions, thanks to the efforts of Dr. Rubabha Khan Bilidi, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Women Development Department.

According to details, Dr. Bilidi recently met with officials of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and apprised them of the issues faced by medical students from Balochistan. The PMDC officials, acting on Dr. Bilidi’s recommendations, have withdrawn their earlier decision and allowed four students to take admission in medical colleges, in addition to granting special permission for double admissions from the next academic year.

This means that students from Balochistan, who previously had to wait for a year to get admission in medical colleges compared to students from other parts of the country, can now take admission simultaneously with their counterparts from other provinces without wasting a year. This move is expected to benefit a large number of medical students from Balochistan.
