INTERIOR MINISTER MIR ZIAULLAH LANGAU SLAMS EXTERNAL FORCES FOR FUELLING UNREST IN BALOCHISTAN

Independent Report
QUETTA: EXTERNAL ELEMENTS HAVE NO CONCERN FOR BALOCHISTAN’S RIGHTS, ONLY FUEL CHAOS

Quetta, August 7, 2024

Balochistan’s Interior Minister, Mir Ziaullah Langau, has condemned external forces for fuelling unrest in the province. He stated that individuals living abroad, claiming to be Baloch leaders, have no concern for the rights of the people of Balochistan and are only interested in creating chaos.

Langau criticized these individuals for living comfortable lives in Europe while instigating violence in Balochistan through social media. He urged them to come to Balochistan and face the situation on the ground instead of spreading hatred from abroad.

The Minister warned that these external elements should not attempt to disrupt peace in Balochistan, and that the people of the province should not be swayed by their propaganda. He emphasized that those who seek to please enemy countries have no interest in the development and prosperity of Pakistan, particularly Balochistan.

Langau’s statements come as a response to the recent wave of unrest in Balochistan, which he attributes to external forces seeking to destabilize the region.
