DEPUTY COMMISSIONER LASBELA VISITS FLOOD-PRONE AREAS TO OVERSEE PREVENTIVE MEASURES

Lasbela, August 6, 2024: On the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Lasbela, Hamira Baloch, Assistant Commissioner Sub-Division Lasbela, Ali Shah Abbasi, visited Sher Muhammad Khasikheli Goth Luyani and Musani Goth to inspect the ongoing work of dozers to prevent floodwater intrusion.

Following the Deputy Commissioner’s instructions, Abbasi inspected the work being carried out by the MMD department using heavy machinery, including bulldozers, to prevent floodwater damage from the Narg River. The heavy machinery is being used to mitigate flood-related losses due to recent rainfall.

Abbasi stated that the district administration is working swiftly at various locations to prevent flood-related losses and protect human lives and property. He was accompanied by AC Lasbela spokesperson, Abrar Sarwar Khasikheli, during the visit.
