Lahore, August 4: The Motorway Police Central Zone observed Youm-e-Shuhada Police with solemn ceremonies at all its offices. The Motorway Police paid tribute to the martyrs of the police force by reciting Fateha and laying floral wreaths on their graves.
A minute’s silence was observed at all offices of the Motorway Police Central Zone to pay homage to the martyrs. DIG Central Zone, Dar Ali Khan Khattak, met with the families of the martyrs and presented them with checks and gifts. Following the instructions of DIG Dar Ali Khan, Sector/Beat Commanders also visited the families of the martyrs and paid their respects.
On this occasion, DIG Dar Ali Khan Khattak said that the Motorway Police pays tribute to the martyrs of the police force on Youm-e-Shuhada. The martyrs are our pride. The Motorway Police is constantly working for the welfare of the families of the martyrs.
