Levies forces have cordoned off an area in Harnai district of Balochistan after receiving reports of five bodies. According to security sources, a shepherd identified the presence of five bodies in the Zar Ghun area of Harnai district, prompting Levies forces to cordon off the area and call in a bomb disposal squad. A clearance operation is underway in the area.
Security sources say that the bodies will be taken into custody and transported to Quetta after the clearance operation is complete. It is unclear whether the bodies are those of the ten individuals kidnapped from the Shaban area between Quetta and Harnai last month. Three of the kidnapped individuals were released by the banned organization, while the fate of the remaining seven remains unknown. It is also unclear whether the recovered bodies are those of the kidnapped individuals or someone else.
