Chief Minister BalochistanMeets with PM’s Focal Person for Polio Eradication, Ayesha Raza Farooq

Quetta, August 4: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sardar Faraz Bugti met with Prime Minister’s Focal Person for Polio Eradication, Ayesha Raza Farooq, at the CM Secretariat. Provincial Ministers Sardar Faisal Jamali, Ali Madad Jatak, Health Secretary Muhammad Saleh Baloch, National Polio Coordinator Captain (Retd) Muhammad Anwar ul Haq, Commissioner Quetta Division Hamza Shafqat, and Coordinator Emergency Operation Center Inam Khan Mandokhail were also present.

The meeting discussed the eradication of polio in the province, the success of the anti-polio campaign in Balochistan, and related matters. Ayesha Raza Farooq expressed concern over the reporting of polio cases in Balochistan and announced a special anti-polio campaign in the province for the next three months, starting from September, October, and November this year.

Chief Minister Bugti assured full administrative support to the anti-polio teams for the successful execution of the polio campaign in Balochistan. He emphasized the importance of eradicating polio and directed the concerned authorities to take concrete steps to achieve this goal.
