Vice Admiral Ibrahim Ozdem, Chief of Staff of the Turkish Naval Forces, visited Naval Headquarters in Islamabad, where he was welcomed by Vice Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami.
According to ISPR, during a meeting with Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, they discussed matters of mutual interest. The Turkish Admiral praised Pakistan Navy’s efforts in maintaining maritime security in the region.
The visit also included the sixth round of staff-level talks between Pakistan Navy and Turkish Navy, covering:
– Joint operations
– Training
– Technical fields
This visit reflects the strong and cordial relations between the navies of the two countries.
