DIG SOUTH KARACHI CONFIRMS ARRESTS, RELEASES WOMEN DETAINED FOR ‘ANTI-STATE’ SLOGANS

Karachi: July 31 DIG South Syed Asad Raza has confirmed the arrest of several individuals, including some women, for chanting “anti-state” slogans outside the Karachi Press Club. However, he clarified that all the detained women have been released immediately.

According to the DIG, the individuals were taken into custody for raising slogans against the state, but the women among them were released shortly after.
