GOVERNMENT REACHES AGREEMENT WITH GWADAR PROTESTERS, MOBILE NETWORK TO BE RESTORED

Gwadar: July 31 Assistant Commissioner Gwadar, Mir Javed Zehri, has announced that the government has reached a successful agreement with the Gwadar protesters. The agreement was reached after negotiations between the government and the Baloch Unity Committee.

According to the agreement, all arrested workers of the Baloch Unity Committee will be released, mobile networks will be restored, and all roads will be opened by removing blockades. The Gwadar BYC has also agreed to end its sit-in protest.

The local leadership of the National Party, BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, and BNP Awami played a key role in mediating the agreement. Assistant Commissioner Gwadar, Mir Javed Zehri, spoke to Geo News about the agreement.
