Political organization has status of vanguard in development of country & nation: Governor

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that the political organization has the status of vanguard in development of the country and nation, as such it is the social and political responsibility of all the elected representatives to make conscious efforts for uniting the people instead of dividing them.
The Governor stressed that elected representatives should wholeheartedly advocate the rights and interests of the voiceless and destitute people of the society.
He said that the country has come out of the economic hardships because of the wise decisions of the incumbent government and now it is necessary to create other easiness for the people by promoting trade and economic activities.
The Governor was speaking to the former Provincial Minister, Mir Mujeebur Rehman Muhammad Hassani, former Member National Assembly, Mir Ehsan Reki and District Chairman, Mir Irfan Reki who called on him here at the Governor House on Wednesday.
The Governor maintained that the political organizations and workers play key role in promoting collective sense of the rights and duties among masses, boosting social justice and democratic behaviours and ensuring implementation on the public rights.
He also stressed that it is responsibility of the elected representatives to formulate such public friendly policies through legislation which may pave the way for protection of public rights and fundamental freedom.
He said that he learnt following affiliation with practical politics for four decades that any political organization surely gets success if ensures transparency, responsibility and answerability.
Besides, he stressed the need to ensure early completion of the ongoing development projects so that the common men may benefit from them. There lies secret of strengthening the democracy, he added.
