ISLAMABAD: FEDERAL INTERIOR MINISTER MOHSIN NAQVI SPEAKS TO MEDIA

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has addressed the concerns raised by Khaleed Maqbool Siddiqui, leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), regarding the Imported Power Projects (IPPs).

In a recent media interaction, Mohsin Naqvi stated that he has briefed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the entire situation. The Prime Minister has already spoken to the Minister for Energy regarding the IPPs.

The government is formulating a strategy to address the concerns of all stakeholders, including MQM, regarding the IPPs.

When asked about the current political situation, Mohsin Naqvi said there is no cause for concern, and the government is stable. The Prime Minister and his team are working day and night to address the issues.

In response to a question about the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Mohsin Naqvi said it is up to Allah to decide who he will speak to and who he won’t.
