Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stressed that unemployment, poverty, and unequal distribution of wealth have contributed to an increase in human trafficking. He noted that developing countries, including Pakistan, are most affected by illegal human smuggling.

Minister Naqvi assured that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is vigilant and has arrested numerous suspects involved in human trafficking rings. He emphasized the need for collective international efforts to combat human trafficking, stating that traffickers exploit thousands of lives for greed.
