National Party members in the Balochistan Assembly staged a walkout during Monday’s session to protest the use of force against peaceful protesters in Gwadar, resulting in violence and the arrest of party leader Mir Ashraf Hussein and his sons.
During the session, members Khair Jan Baloch and Kulsoom Naz Baloch condemned the incident and criticized the government for its actions. The members also expressed solidarity with the people of Gwadar and demanded immediate release of the arrested leaders.
The walkout was a show of protest against the government’s handling of the situation in Gwadar, where peaceful protesters were met with force, leading to injuries and arrests. The National Party has demanded an explanation from the government and sought action against those responsible for the violence.
