Lahore: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren in Lahore today. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including strengthening of bilateral relations, CPEC projects, security of the Chinese citizens and the ongoing projects were discussed in detail.
On this occasion, the Interior Minister said that CPEC has given a new dimension to the brotherly relationship between two countries and every Pakistani is proud of the enduring friendship with China. He stated that China has stood by Pakistan in every test of time and Both countries have the similar stance on international issues. He emphasized that all humanly possible measures have been put in place to protect the Chinese citizens. He also appreciated the cooperation of Chinese citizens in the implementation the of foolproof security measures.
