LARKANA : The former district election commissioner of Qamber Shahdadkot Munwar Ali Solangi, who was arrested by the FIA Larkana Composite Circle a few days ago in the case of embezzlement of government funds worth Rs. 28 lakh, was remanded by the FIA Composite Circle. Presented in the court of 4th additional Cession Judge Mr. Imtiaz Ali Shahani, where the court has sent the suspect to jail on judicial remand, in this regard, FIA Circle Larkana officials said that a case was filed against the former District Election Commissioner on July 15, on which FIA investigated for five days. Today, the accused was presented in the relevant court for remand, where the court handed over the accused to the jail on judicial remand. He has been arrested for misappropriating the government funds released for training, conferences and symposiums.
